Wealth Management Convergence - Terms of Attendance and Participation
The following terms and conditions pertain to Wealth Management Convergence (the “Event”) scheduled for February 24-26, 2025, at the Hilton Miami Aventura. Event is presented by The Truth About Your Future (“TAYF”).
EXCLUSIVELY FOR FINANCIAL PROFESSIONALS & ACCREDITED INVESTORS
Event attendance is limited to financial advisors, investment advisors, financial planners, and professionals employed by endowments, foundations, family offices, pension funds, bank/trust offices, accredited investors (as defined by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission at the time of registration), and approved members of the media. TAYF reserves the right to grant access to other individuals at its sole discretion. TAYF further reserves the right to reject the registration application for any individual at its sole discretion. TAYF further reserves the right to deny admission to Event by any person for any reason.
A company that primarily offers products or services to the above may send a limited number of representatives to Event in accordance with its sponsorship agreement with TAYF.
We invite you to apply for attendance at Event as a VIP Guest.
VIP Guests will receive:
- Free Admission – the registration fee is waived
- Free Hotel – we will book your hotel room at Event location and pay for its costs
- Free Event Meals – we will pay for your meals at all Event Meals
Qualifications to be a VIP Guest:
To become a VIP Guest, you must meet the following qualifications:
- You personally manage $50 million or more in client assets
- You determine which investments are recommended to your clients
- You meet with 8 sponsors for 15 minutes each at times provided by TAYF
- You attend one Sponsor-hosted dinner on February 25
- You attend Event’s full program, beginning 3pm on Monday, February 24 and ending 12:30pm on Wednesday, February 26
- You secure your registration with a credit card. Your card will be charged the costs of your hotel room plus Event maximum published registration fee only if you fail to meet the above requirements
- You provide TAYF with information about your job and company, which TAYF will use solely to evaluate your qualification as a VIP Guest. You will be informed of TAYF’s decision on a timely basis. TAYF’s decision will be at its sole discretion.
- As a VIP Guest, you are responsible for making and paying for your travel arrangements.
If you have been accepted as a VIP guest and become unable to participate in the program, you may cancel your registration without penalty up to 21 days before the conference. Cancellation requests must be sent to and received by mb@dacfp.com. Any cancellation after this deadline will be subject to the full cancelation fee of $650.
The information provided at Event is solely for informational purposes and may not be used or relied on for any purpose (including, without limitation, as legal, tax or investment advice).
Any information provided at Event is not an offer to buy or sell, nor is any information provided a solicitation of an offer to buy or sell, interests in any fund or any advisory services or any other services.
Should Event be cancelled, TAYF assumes no liability for transportation costs, hotel accommodations or any other costs incurred by registrant.
By attending Event, you grant TAYF the right at Event to record, film, photograph, or capture your likeness in any media and to distribute, broadcast, use, or otherwise disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without approval from or payment to you.
TAYF, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to change any and all aspects of Event, including but not limited to, Event name, themes, content, programs, speakers, moderators, venue and time.
At time of check-in, you must provide a Government-issued photo identification.
Attendee Badge Usage. You must wear your attendee badge at all times in Event areas. You agree not to share, transfer, sell or trade your badge. If you violate this policy, TAYF may eject you from Event and you will not be entitled to any refund or compensation.
Conduct:
- No form of harassment, victimization, bullying, discrimination or threatening, malicious or abusive language or conduct will be tolerated towards our staff, visitors, other customers or service providers.
- You will treat our staff, visitors, other customers and service providers with fairness, integrity, dignity and respect, including their values, beliefs, cultures and religions.
- You will comply with all reasonable instructions given by our employees while at Event.
- You may not use any electronic or other equipment to record audio or video of the educational sessions at Event. You may take photographs.
Fees:
- Payment. Applicable fees are due upon registration. If payment is insufficient or declined for any reason, TAYF may refuse to admit you and shall have no resulting liability.
- Taxes. Fees may be subject to sales tax, value added tax, or other taxes and duties, which, if applicable, will be charged to you in addition to the fees.
- No Retroactive Fees Adjustments. Once you have registered, your fees will not be adjusted downward based on any sponsorship, discount or any other reason.
- Discount and Special Rates. There are no special rates for daily attendance, exhibit area only attendance, etc.
Cancellation:
Financial Professionals: If you are unable to attend, you may replace your registration with an eligible substitute at no cost or we will issue a refund of registration fees upon written notification of cancelation received by 12:01am ET on Monday, February 3, 2025.
VIP Guests: If you are accepted as a VIP Guest but become unable to participate in Event even though you are still employed by your organization, you agree to suggest one or more substitutes from your organization as your replacement. Acceptance of any substitute is subject to TAYF approval via email.
- No Carry Over Fees. There will be no carry over of registrations or fees to subsequent events.
Intellectual Property
- All intellectual property rights in and to Event, Event content, and all materials distributed at or in connection with Event are owned by TAYF or Event sponsors or speakers at Event. You may not use or reproduce or allow anyone to use or reproduce any trademarks appearing at Event, in any Event content or in any materials distributed at or in connection with Event for any reason without the prior written permission of TAYF.
- For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to vest in you any legal or beneficial right in or to any trademarks or other intellectual property rights owned or used under license by TAYF; nor does this Agreement grant to you any right or license to any other intellectual property rights of TAYF, all of which shall at all times remain the exclusive property of TAYF.
Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability
- TAYF gives no warranties in respect of any aspect of Event or any materials related thereto or offered at Event and, to the fullest extent possible under the laws governing this Agreement, disclaims all implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, timeliness, and merchantability. Event is provided on an “as-is” basis. TAYF does not accept any responsibility or liability for reliance by you or any person on any aspect of Event or any information provided at Event.
- Except as required by law, TAYF shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential costs, damages or losses arising directly or indirectly from Event or other aspect related thereto or in connection with this Agreement.
- The maximum aggregate liability of TAYF for any claim in any way connected with, or arising from, Event or this Agreement, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise (including any negligent act or omission), shall be limited to the amount paid by you to TAYF under this Agreement.
Miscellaneous
- TAYF’s failure to exercise any right shall not be deemed a waiver of any further rights. TAYF shall not be liable for any failure to fulfill its obligations where such failure results from any cause beyond TAYF’s reasonable control. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary for this Agreement to otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable. This Agreement is not assignable, transferable or sub-licensable by you except with TAYF’s prior written consent. TAYF may sub-license, transfer, sell or assign this Agreement and/or any of its purported obligations hereunder at any time to any person or entity, with or without notice. This Agreement shall be governed by the internal laws of the State of New York and the parties shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the federal and State courts located in the State of New York.
- A party that substantially prevails in an action brought under this Agreement is entitled to recover from the other party its reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs. Both parties agree that this Agreement is the complete and exclusive statement of the mutual understanding of the parties and supersedes and cancels all previous written and oral agreements, communications and other understandings relating to the subject matter of this Agreement, and that all modifications must be in a writing signed by both parties, except as otherwise provided herein.
- Neither party shall be liable for any failure to fulfill its obligations under this agreement due to causes beyond its control, including but not limited to, fire, earthquake, explosion or other casualty, riot, or civil commotion, act of government or governmental instrumentality (whether federal, state or local), war, act of terrorism, failure of performance by a common carrier, failure in whole or in part of third party technical facilities (e.g., an Internet hosting company), act of God, epidemic, pandemic or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of such party (a “Force Majeure Event”). Without limiting the foregoing, TAYF shall not be liable for the cancellation or postponement of Event for a period longer than twelve (12) months, as a result of any such Force Majeure Event, and your sole and exclusive remedy under will be the reimbursement of the ticket fee.
- No agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment is created as a result of this Agreement and you acknowledge that you do not have any authority of any kind to bind TAYF in any respect whatsoever.
Privacy Policy and Terms of Use
TAYF is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and personal data. If you do not agree with any terms in this privacy policy, please discontinue use of the TAYF website, apps and any other TAYF products immediately.
You also acknowledge that, by accessing or using our Website, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of use pertaining to our Website.
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us. We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use or navigate the Website, including but not necessarily limited to log, usage and device data. TAYF does NOT:
- Sell participant data with third parties without your consent
- Require that any software be installed on your system or devices
We process personal information you provide to us for legitimate business, compliance or legal purposes, including law enforcement agencies or other public authorities.
We may share your personal data with selected third parties, including service providers that provide IT systems, customer management systems, visitor registration systems, event management systems and administration services and which process your data in accordance with the terms of our data processing agreements with them; and other Event participants, to facilitate participant interaction.
The Truth About Your Future will NOT:
- Record, store or share video or audio data from 1:1 Meetings. Meetings are confidential between participants.
- Share participants’ contact details with other participants.
- Sell participant data with third parties, except for sharing data with event sponsors and the technology providers we partner with to deliver our services.
- Share metadata about how you used our platform with third parties (for example how you searched for people to meet, or who you requested to meet).
